Eric Godin, Ph.D. - Assistant Vice President of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Hodges University, Fort Myers, FL

Eric Atchison is the Vice President for Strategic Research for the Arkansas State University System. In this role, he has developed the system-wide strategic research function for the seven institutions in the ASU System and provides broad leadership for the System’s effective use of information resources to facilitate data collection, data analytics, and performance metrics. He is committed to effective training of IR professionals and serves as an Association for Institutional Research IPEDS Educator.  Eric's board service includes Secretary for the Southern Association for Institutional Research and Treasurer for the Arkansas Institutional Research Organization. He also serves in an advisory capacity for the Arkansas State University - University College Advisory Council, the Delta Regional Authority Regional Advisory Council, and the National Center for Education Statistics National Postsecondary Education Cooperative.

Eric Godin is the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Research and Effectiveness and SACSCOC Liaison at Hodges University (FL). In this role, he oversees the institutional research and effectiveness functions, ensuring the institution utilizes quality data for internal data-informed decision-making, provides accurate data to external entities, and maintains SACSCOC compliance. He has a wide background of experiences in higher education that include individual institutions (Hodges University and St. Thomas University), state systems (Florida College System), and national organizations (State Higher Education Executive Officers Association – SHEEO, Association for Institutional Research – AIR, and Council of Independent Colleges - CIC). He has also served on national data advisory groups and is active in IR organizations at the state, regional, and national levels. He believes in the power of collaboration among faculty, staff, and administrators to think critically and make transformational change to support student and institutional success.
